We recommend a corporate trustee as it gives you a clear name for when you are investing in your SMSF rather than advisors getting confused about the ownership of the investments (as they generally require them to be held in the trustees name). The corporate trustee also allows for up to three more members to be added later on without the prohibitive cost of changing all of the paperwork on existing investments.
